7 Key Ways to Protect Your BIG Dream

There are many obstacles that can crop up on the path towards your BIG dream. And sometimes, the closer you get to your BIG dream, the more menacing those obstacles seem to get.

Here are seven ways to protect your BIG dream along the way.

1. Fifteen BIG dream minutes - protect your dream from the drama of everyday life by nourishing it for fifteen dedicated minutes every day.

2. Be careful what you ask for - don't ask your friends or family what to do about your BIG dream. Invite support, not advice or feedback. Be very clear about what you're looking for before you share. Gently release any opinions or feedback if they can't help but give it.

3. Imagine abundance - picture an abundant universe providing more than enough for you and everyone else. You're not taking anything from someone else in order to get your BIG dream.

4. Grow your dream in private - your dream is sacred, especially in it's earliest stage of development. Take action and plant some seeds. Wait until your dream grows and has a strong voice of its own before you bring it out into the open.

5. Create a shield - imagine a white light around yourself; a shield that you can use when you're in the presence of negative people. You can also shield yourself by spending less time with these people and by changing the topic of conversation as needed.

6. Recognize your supporters - notice how you feel about your BIG dream after you've shared it with someone. Protect your BIG dream by sharing it with those who leave you feeling empowered, happy and hopeful.

7. Create a supportive forum - write in a journal, join an online support group or hire a coach who will listen, guide and celebrate with you.
Remember, you are growing towards your BIG dream. Growing can be challenging but with careful nurturing, your BIG dream will thrive.
